Teacher stabs 9-year-old to death with a butcher knife in Bihar

A nine-year-old boy was stabbed to death by his neighbor, who is a teacher by profession, on Wednesday morning. An innocent child was allegedly stabbed twelve times with a butcher knife in Bihar's Nalanda.

The horrifying incident happened when the child went out for fun. That's when the defendant stopped him and began violently attacking him with a knife, which according to reports is largely used for cutting meat. Unfortunately, it was too late when his family saw him in a pool of blood. The whole incident was narrated to the media house by the boy's aunt.

The defendant tried to flee quickly after murdering the child. He was immediately caught by the locals, who handed him over to the police. The teacher has now been arrested and is being questioned by the police. Further investigations are underway.

The boy, covered in blood, was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead during treatment. The victim's body has been sent to Sadar Hospital in Bihar Sharif for post-mortem.

It is believed that there was a dispute between the accused and the child's family over water drainage. The gruesome murder was committed by the teacher as an act of revenge, reports claim. The victim was the eldest of three brothers and was a student in class four. The accused works as a teacher in Katrisarai.

The boy's death left his entire family in a state of shock.
